Robot Chicken: Season Five hits Blu-ray with 20 episodes of typically crude pop culture parody and a heavy dose of extras in tow.
With this being the first Robot Chicken: Star Wars I had the opportunity to watch, I had high hopes of being thoroughly amused. Those hopes were immediately dashed, and I found Robot Chicken: Star Wars III to be dull, despite some often clever stop-motion animation.
Adult Swim’s The Venture Bros. ratchets up the lampooning of 1960′s action cartoons in its fourth season arriving in a solid 1080p VC-1 transfer from Warner.
Cartoon Network’s Firebreather is a letdown in this Blu-ray transfer, but the action-packed feature and great sound help rescue the release.
