Hayao Miyazaki’s magical Ponyo arrives in a superb, reference quality release from Disney, but the lack of a lossless version of the original Japanese soundtrack is disappointing.
Claymore is a great anime series that you won’t want to stop watching once you start. The 1080i transfer could be better, but its good enough to make this a more than enjoyable release from Funimation.

This anime may have started its life as an RPG, but over the course of its 26-episodes, it moves well beyond any game and into the realm of serious drama. The 1080i MPEG-2 encoding may have some flaws, but it is still a solid effort.
